EBN LIVE 4: THE TEN COMMANDMENTS OF EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

Josh Stevens, CEO, KEAS

Disengaged employees cost American employers $370 billion annually in lost productivity. It’s not uncommon for employers to attempt solving employee engagement shortcomings with a Band-Aid, employing common, hasty fixes like spot-bonuses and short-term perks. While a seemingly successful cure on the surface, employees are quick to recognize when an employer’s motives are self-serving. Adopting an offhand, minimalistic approach to employee engagement does the exact opposite of what may have been intended, likely alienating a substantial portion of a company’s workforce. The true remedy for increasing employee engagement and productivity lies in generating a genuine and sustained effort to fashion an organizational environment that promotes an engaged workforce.

In this short and to the point “EBN Live!” session, the speaker will address:

-The true costs of disengaged employees

  • -The ten best practices that HR has to champion to create engagement in the workforce
  • -Case study of a large employer who has successfully created an engaged employee base
