Past Attendee Testimonials

As CFO of Veritext, managing the employee and financial aspect of health and wellness benefits increases in importance every day. I’ve been attending BFE for 5 years now and I am amazed at how much I learn each time I attend.

The ability to network with peers facing the same challenges, as well as to meet industry experts is critical in staying ahead of the curve in this ever changing and important facet of our business."

Today, employees are asked to play a bigger role in the decision-making and enrollment process than ever before. With that in mind, technology is primed to play an increasing role for everyone involved, especially brokers. Face-to-face enrollment sessions between insurance agents and enrollees have been the backbone of the industry’s past. Although most hope that personal touch will never go away, providers must align themselves with the varying preferences of our potential clients and the right solution seems to lie within a mix of in-person interactions, call center and self-service support.

This discussion will focus on what’s happening in the voluntary benefits industry and how brokers/advisers/employers can set themselves up for success by capitalizing on the advantages technology brings to the table.
