Past Attendee Testimonials

As CFO of Veritext, managing the employee and financial aspect of health and wellness benefits increases in importance every day. I’ve been attending BFE for 5 years now and I am amazed at how much I learn each time I attend.

The ability to network with peers facing the same challenges, as well as to meet industry experts is critical in staying ahead of the curve in this ever changing and important facet of our business."

MOTIVATION INNOVATIONS: THE LATEST IN CARROTS AND STICKS

Don Powell, Ph.D., President and CEO, AMERICAN INSTITUTE FOR PREVENTIVE MEDICINE

It is one thing to know how to improve one’s health, but it is an entirely different matter to be motivated to do so. It is felt that employee motivation is the key factor in determining the success or failure of worksite wellness programs and their ability to reduce health care costs and increase productivity. In an entertaining and informative manner, this talk will present the key strategies—including program design and the pros and cons of incentives and disincentives—that can help initiate and maintain employee motivation and engagement. The result will increase the likelihood that employees will succeed at making permanent lifestyle changes.
